I was born in Fitzgerald Georgia, lived there until 1982. Moved to SF and lived there until 2001.Now we live in the Russian River area. I hope your feeling better!! Was it strep?
I am doing better after my own surgery. Perhaps I failed to tell you, but I went under the knife last Monday, the 27th, to clean out an abscess in my groin. That was fun...yeah right! I am doing much better, but I have stayed home from work all week. The discomfort is almost gone. It certainly feels much better now that the abscess is drained. I was in the hospital for the whole morning that day. We got there at 7:00 am. All of the staff knew that I was TS and were as nice as they could possibly be. Many asked me questions about THE surgery. I hope I left a good impression. It was obvious that they don't get many TS patients. Many of them were practically excited to meet me. It was quite a positive experience.
The pain meds got me through the worst of the post-op. I am almost weened off of them.
BTW, the your blog is cute! It could use a little dressing. Put your feminine side to work and create a nice background.
